"Alchemist Ballet"
2017
'Alchemist Ballet' premiered in the giant empty pool at Peter Strauss Ranch in conjunction with Tiny Porch Concert summer series. It is a 20-minute dance collaboration piece created and choreographed by Chasity Ramsey. She combined movement, live music, acting, and fake flowers to take her audience on a journey.
"Frolicking Gypsies"
2018/2019
Frolicking Gypsies was a 10min experimental dance film in December of 2018. Chasity, later, re-staged it for a live production which premiered at Highways Performance Space in the summer of 2018 as part of NEW SHOES 18. Chasity was one of 6 choreographers to produce her original works for the immersive choreographic showcase. Frolicking Gypsies was accompanied by a live cellist, original lullaby's and 100s of fake flowers that filled the stage.
Love is something we are born with.
Fear is something we learn.
The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love back into our true essence.
Becoming We is a dance short about the space in-between. The in-between moments of our healing process, which can look and feel completely different to everyone. It is the in-between space of our constant journey in life from 'here to there'. Becoming We explores themes of universal oneness.
Becoming We was produced for national choreography month as part of NACHMO Dance Film 2019.

"Reflect"
2019
Based on the theme of Reflect, we start off with a male/female duet. The duet is exploring the concept of having a Twin Flame or soulmate in your life. Everyone has a twin flame, whether we meet them in this life or not, but having a twin flame also doesn't mean you are together intimately or romantically. A twin flame is a love that is much deeper than that.
The duet leads into a strong women's piece where the male comes back on stage towards the end of the dance. Reflection can entail a lot of emotions, obstacles and endeavors. One thing is always certain on our paths of reflection...we are never alone during the process.
"Exist"
2016
Inspired by a letter written for a special person. The dance gives the illusion of being on the beach with someone, or some spirit, that is important to you. Exist is about existing in an imperfectly perfect world and allowing every moment to be new and enriching. It is dance of allowing everything to be just as is. Exist was choreographed for a summer showcase at AMDA College/Conservatory, LA.
