About Chasity
Before Yoga

Born and raised in Alabama, Chasity has always been involved in an active lifestyle. She began dancing at the young age of four and spent many years learning various styles of dance technique.
At 13, she was accepted into the dance program at the Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA). She had danced in their preparatory program, the year prior, to prepare for her audition. She spent her summers furthering her dance training at Point Park University, Alabama Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. She graduated from ASFA in 2014 and a month later she flew to Los Angeles, CA.
Chasity attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, LA Campus (AMDA) and graduated in 2017 with a BFA in Dance Theatre. At AMDA, Chasity trained in various styles of dance and performance technique, as well as, acting and singing. She found her artistic voice as a creative director and choreographer and has choreographed for major artists venues, such as, Highways Performance Space, Peter Strauss Ranch, Hollywood Fringe Festival, and AMDA, LA. Chasity creates dance theatre collaborations that invoke thought, compassion, abundance, and she weaves yoga philosophy and movement throughout her pieces.
Her dance roles include: Sugar Plum Fairy (Nutcracker), Clara (Nutcracker), lead dancer in the production of Circus Of Love, experimental music videos First Light with Amanda Bauman, My Silent Bravery, and Too Many Bodies.
Chasity also teaches creative art classes with ACE Enrichment for after-school care programs in numerous elementary schools across LA. She teaches comic book creation, art/watercolor classes and dance classes.
She believes that service to the many will lead her to a life of greatness & truth. Chasity has so much love and support from her family, in Alabama, and she wouldn't be where she is today if it weren't her strong, loving support system.
Yoga Journey
Shortly after graduating from AMDA College and Conservatory, Chasity found yoga. She started out as a karmi yoga student at YogaVibe WeHo, and three months later she signed up for a 200hr yoga teacher training program. She completed her 200 hours with Yoga108: Mind, Body, Spirit under the mentorship of Dana Kraft & Jennifer Smith. The training was hosted at the beautiful holistic healing center, La Maida Institute in North Hollywood, California.
She is Yoga Alliance certified and teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, & Restorative Yoga with Iyengar-based alignment technique and original sequencing. Chasity is also teaching Restorative Movement and Breath-work Workshops. She now teaches at YogaVibe WeHo, YMCA Hollywood, Yoga NoHo, Liberate Hollywood, Heartbeat House and YogaVibe Los Feliz. She has also modeled for Ashtanga Yoga modules for Yoga108: Mind, Body, Spirit 75-hour Ashtanga training.
Her classes are sequenced around inspiring and empowering practitioners to reach inner liberation and peace through movement, breath, endurance, focus, and love. Chasity incorporates meditation and pranayama exercises in her classes because she is an advocate for the true form of Yoga.
Chasity knows that yoga is much more than physical movement. The movement meditation asana practice is supported with breath awareness, meditation and the understanding/comprehension that we are all spiritual beings immersed into a human experience.
Being able to guide others through re-discovering their human vessels and find their connection with their higher self, brings Chasity so much gratitude and always deepens her own awareness. Once a teacher, always a student.
Service to the many will bring you to greatness.
